Quality Auditor - Apex, NC

The Blueprint (Role)
The Quality Auditor/Returns Processor is an important part of distribution center. This role is responsible for evaluating product returned by the customer, replacing, issuing, or denying credit in the
system, and overall product disposition including quality. This role is required to work with many departments within the company (e.g. distribution operations, customer service, accounting, sales, and marketing); excellent communication skills are critical.

The Build (Responsibilities)

* Perform required returns/quality processes.

* Enter multi-step transactions accurately.

* Inspect finished product for accuracy and consistency.

* Maintain clear precise data for tracking purposes.

* Follows audit/inspection log format and standards.

* Facilitate error data collection with team leads.

* Participate in and recommend process efficiency improvements to drive productivity goals.

* Process Customer Quality Alerts (CQA's) and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR's)

* Work with the appropriate associates at the ADC for disposition of rejected material.

* Conduct various audits on material that needs to be inspected or removed from inventory.

* Other duties as assigned.


The Toolbox (Qualifications)

Minimum Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED equivalent

* Demonstrate excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

* Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

* Ability to work in diverse non-routine tasks and stand at a computer workstation for 8 hours.

* Ability to provide a high level of customer service under minimal supervision.

* Ability to lift between 5 and 50 pounds

* Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with a WMS, SAP

* Experience in data and trend analysis, root cause problem solving

* Associates degree in related field
