The Restorative Justice Commission is looking for a graduate student employee/intern to support the activities of the Restorative Justice Commission (RJC). The RJC is an advisory body established by the Chancellor to assess, develop, and recommend policies, practices, and other initiatives to advance Restorative Justice at UMass and its anti-racist and health promoting mission. The RJC is composed of committees, which include the Policies and Practices committee, the Curriculum committee, and the Community Engagement committee.
The applicant should have strong organizational and communication skills, and familiarity with project management, calendar, and team collaboration tools like Teams or Google Docs. They must demonstrate an interest and commitment to restorative justice work. The RJC is committed to supporting the graduate intern's professional and academic goals through mentorship and networking.
