Senior Developer II, E-commerce

Overview

The Senior e-commerce Developer is a major contributor to the e-commerce team developing web applications on the SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) platform. Work with the agile team from requirements discovery through implementation and deployment of completed work. Lead the technical direction during design and development process by driving decisions and coordinating efforts with the other team members and other IT functions.

This position can be based from any Breakthru Beverage Office to operate in a hybrid capacity (2 days at the office, 3 days from home).

Responsibilities
    Communicate capabilities/possibilities within applications.
    • Meet business requirements and objectives by developing and implementing modification and/or configuration changes.
    • Customize application functionality to satisfy business requirements and business process design.
    • Adheres to application standards by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of best practices.
    • Participate in design, development and testing of new features based on the requirements provided by the customers or internal specifications.
    • Work with the team on design and code review sessions for the new features that are being implemented.
  • Responsible for identifying, troubleshooting issues/problems and debugging the e-commerce system.
  • Assists IT peers and users to solve problems or develop enhancements.
  • Analyze existing software programs and procedures, recommends additional programming methods and/or routines to improve efficiency.
  • Perform configuration and set up to facilitate new functionality.
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field or equivalent technical training and work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience, including 2+ years of experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), ideally holding a leadership role on at least 1 full scale SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) project
  • Demonstrated success delivering business value with the eCommerce development process in an agile environment and the ability to create solutions for common questions/concerns on this type of platform
  • Strong knowledge and experience with integrations between SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and back-end systems including SAP ECC, C/4 and other systems in the SAP landscape
  • Strong programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • A keen interest in emerging technologies and how they might impact future design decisions and strategic directions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing websites using Javascript, building ecommerce solutions for B2B industry, and using user-centric design and applying User Experience concepts.
  • Experience with Vue.js, SAP Customer Data Cloud (CDC), Content Delivery Network (CDN), Wholesale distribution industry, and both on-premises and cloud-based deployment models.
  • Knowledge of enterprise database systems and web security
