Job Summary

The Senior Compensation Analyst Assist equity plan administration, working closely with the Compensation Director and the Company's external stock plan administrator to ensure accuracy of participant records, process routine transactions (e.g., new grants, terminations, etc.), comply with SOX controls and provide support as needed. Will also coordinate and administer compensation processes and policies to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's compensation program.

Job Responsibilities

* Develop, recommend and write job evaluation and compensation policies and procedures.
* Conduct job evaluation of new and revised positions and recommend salary grades.
* Write position descriptions for clerical, technical, professional, administrative and management positions.
* Conduct market survey and analyze results to obtain appropriate grade for evaluated position.
* Audit evaluation of jobs internally to ensure wage and salary rate recommendations are equitable and present findings to Director for final approval.
* Assists with DCAA audits and information requests.
* Support the administration of our compensation programs including merit, salary survey participation and incentive plans.
* Support the salary survey participation process and MarketPay pricing tool database; help ensure the relevance of job matches and surveys selected based on evolving business needs.
* Maintain and control position description records.
* Assist in the annual compensation planning process.
* Prepare and maintain documentation of validity of evaluations.
* Analyze changes in salaries or salary grades that deviate from policy or job structure; communicate findings and/or recommendations to management.
* Design and conduct compensation surveys; participate in compensation surveys conducted by other companies and organizations.
* Compile and analyze data to adjust the salary structure.
* Counsel other department supervisors and managers in the administration and interpretation of salary administration policies.
* Formulate, disseminate and maintain salary structure and policy information and materials.
* Perform special compensation analysis and projects as requested.
* Monitor market trends and external competitiveness of salary administration program.
* Analyze performance against market and submit recommendations to management.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in business administration or human resources (or related field) with a minimum of 5 years' experience in salary administration and job evaluation
* CEBS or World At Work designation preferred.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to conduct and interpret complex analyses and data, and provide insights.
* Equity plan administration experience is required.
* Excel Skills - pivot tables, lookups etc. is required.
* Ability to develop complex compensation analysis required.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Good interpersonal skills required.
* Microsoft Office skills required with exceptional skill in Excel and spreadsheets.
* Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
* PayScale MarketPay tool experience and CCP Certification or courses toward certification is preferred.
