What You Will Do:

Responsibilities

1. Produce required technical and other material using word processing software, as applicable.
2. Develop documents in accordance with applicable specifications, standards, and other requirements.
3. Consult with technical team leads and subject matter experts to ensure accurate and complete documents.
4. Coordinate the quality-control activities required to ensure the accuracy and adequacy of documents with all applicable specifications and standards, validation, and change verification.
5. Produce training materials to implement new and/or revised policies/procedures.
6. Serve as a Point of Contact (POC) for problems and/or inquiries related to documents. May also serve as POC for implementation plans.
7. May perform annual review of procedures and participate in document control.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED :

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Communication, English, or equivalent field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. May require ISO-9000 documentation system experience. Unit-specific experience or qualifications may be required

Skills & Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge of automated document management, version control processes and documentation cycle required. Highly developed oral and written communication skills required. Knowledge of office automation software including word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications. Ability to work on a team.

Travel: May travel and participate in meetings throughout Red Cross system.

The salary range for this position is $30/hr - $33/hr.

Note that the American Red Cross sets salary ranges aligned to a specific geographic location in which the work is performed. The stated salary range in this posting is an average. The specific salary information will be shared at the time of phone screening based upon your location and qualifications.
