BlueHalo is looking for an amazingly talented AEGIS Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will be part of a talented and mission oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and Contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get missile defense capability out to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and scientists our country has to offer who are each contributing to the development and fielding of capabilities in the field of hypersonic missile defense.
- Direct support MDA program office in the integration of the Aegis Weapons
- Streamline the integration process to support schedule, cost, risk reduction
- Under the purview of MDA, provide support for requirement verification through onsite test observation and inspection
- Provide Data management and Configuration Management
- Provide technical support by reviewing changes and participating in Working Groups as needed
- Provide integration and validation support of mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems
- Program management support for program lifecycle cost, program planning, schedule, and risk management
- Support all elements of the systems engineering
This position is located on site and will require travel as needed (15%)
- US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance
- Master's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) field
- 12+ years of experience
- Works Independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks
- Ability to apply Engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems
- Familiarity with Navy Weapon Systems
Desired Skills:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems
- Experience with Missile Systems Engineering
- Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.
