BlueHalo is looking for an amazingly talented Aegis Weapons System Requirements Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to you will be part a talented and mission oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and Contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get missile defense capability out to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and scientists our country has to offer.
- Will be responsible for assessing the degree to which the identified systems operations and technical requirements are being met and where improvements for modernization may be applied for the next generation of missile defense systems
- Will be responsible for the various Sea-based Weapons Systems Program Offices to assess the complete Fleet based mission Defense capability against stated requirements
- Will be responsible to the Chief Engineers and Chief system Engineer to assess and identify gaps in current base line technical and operational capabilities as well as identifying areas for potential modernization of existing baseline
- Will be responsible for all areas of requirements including drafting, analyzing, assessing, and verifying
- Will be responsible for verification and validation of requirements
- Will be required to resolve complex technical issues as well as provide potential solutions to senior members of the Program Offices as well the Missile Defense Agency
This position is located on site and will require travel as needed (15%)
- Master's Degree with 12+ years' of experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 20+ years' of experience in lieu of Master's Degree
- US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance
- Works Independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks
- Ability to apply engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems
- Ability to provide program oversight and recommendations for resolution of complex technical issues to Senior Leaders within the Program office and MDA Leadership
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems
- Experience with Weapon System Development
- Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.
